Michael Vollmer started his career as a cue builder more than 25 years ago. His enthusiasm for billiards and his love of wood inspired him to build his own cues. At first he started building cues for himself and friends. But he quickly discovered his passion for the craft of cue building and began to expand his skills and knowledge.
In order to improve his techniques, Michael Vollmer studied with some of the best cue makers worldwide and spent countless hours researching and testing different woods. He experimented with different materials, developed new techniques and refined his craftsmanship.
Over time, the demand for his handmade cues increased. In 1993, Michael Vollmer finally founded his own company and began to offer his cues to other billiard players. Today, Vollmer Cue is known for its high-quality, handcrafted cues, which are valued all over the world.
